With Love

Was going through my photos and discovered a couple of cards that I hadn't posted so here they are, they are both all about L O V E love

 

This first one is a bugaboo stamp and I have used craftwork cards papers and sentiment done on the pc

 

This next one has die cut hearts from Kraft and red card and ribbon from stash and a bit of faux stitching and a few gems

Black & white is really popular just now

Its my oldest sons 13th birthday so have just come back from Frankie & Benny's , feeling stuffed, I will post his card later this week as havent photographed it yet , also had quite a few request for black and white just now 1st up is a guest book and card  and below is a birthday card for my friends sister

 

first made this for a friend in Dubai to give to someone over here, I had to get my hubby to deliver it to a girl who works at the Airport (where hubby works) and therefore had to wrap it and put on a matching gift tag. They used it as a guest book as they did'nt have one already.  Below is it wrapped in celophane and tied with ribbon.

 

and finally a birthday card for my friends sister , love this paper from my local stockist its just not the cheapest as its by the A4 sheet, sentiment was on the pc and I cant remember where I got the wee dresses from

Less is More Week 25 Ribbon or Button

 

Made this card for couple getting married and I am having a preference to the less is more style of card just now, therefore have entered this into the Less is More challenge this week ,

the embossed card was done on my hougie board, the stamp was LOTV with a nellie snellen die , plum organza ribbon and a few gems to finish,

Fab at 50 and a wee problem

 

Seem to be having a wee problem with blogs I have decided to follow they dont seem to be showing on my blog list , hopefully I will figure it out , anyway onto my card which was made for a friend who wanted one not too flowery as her friend is quite a trendy and 'mad' girl, so hopefully this fitted the bill.

Papers from my local supplier, sentiments on pc , pinched flowers and nesties used , martha stewart edge punch and a few wee gems.

Oh just figured out me wee problem and its sorted now, yay!

A Card at Last and an Apology

First my apology for not being around much lately, things have been really busy and not had a minute, just had time to make my card requests but not much time to visit you all or post them up , I promise to catch up with blogland tonight.

Now onto my card which was made for my friend for her best friends 40th and she wanted something special.  I had made the card below for her husbnad to give to her for her 40th which I hadnt posted up (dont know why) and she loved it so much she wanted a pink version for her friend.
these cards do take a bit longer to make but the finished article stands out in a display , perfect for special friends.

Who loves Cadbury?

Cadbury purple that is but I also love the chocolate too, who doesnt?

This was the request for this wedding set of Card, (shown previous post) guest book, keepsake box and photo album for a wedding gift, really enjoyed making this as its my favourite colour, my friend is collecting on Sunday so hope she is happy with it.

I have shown the lids off the boxes and also made her a wee matching tag.

I have printed all the labels on the computer and matted onto shimmer purple paper and embossed the backing card on my hougie in a lattice effect and punched out the butterflies and added some bling with some stickles on the crossing of the lines of the embossing.

Butterflies

Made this card to go with one of my box sets which I will post later, and saw on the Less is More

challenge this week it is butterflies so thought I may as well enter

although not sure if its got too much on it to qualify but sure the girls will let me know,

Used the following 

Nesties, dimensions punch , bling gems, hougie board for the criss cross embossing and ribbon from stash, sentiments all done on PC as this is a personalised commission.

Hedgies Love Letters and I have been Minxed!!`

Hedgie is posting his Love Letters for this weeks I Love Promarkers Challenge (64 Song Title)

Hedgie has been coloured with Promarkers and mounted on Nesties inked with Versacolour, sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and the flowers are punched, the wee strip of paper is from my scrap drawer and is made by my local supplier.

I have entered him into the challenge above and my song title is Love Letters sung by Elvis,

 

I also went for a haircut today and the beautician in the salon had just started doing these minx toenails so I thought I would give it a wee go as the weather has been so nice my tone up flip flops have never been off my feet, I will apologise for my horrible feet ( they need some TLC)but at least may nails look nice lol!

Golden Wedding on the Royal Wedding Day

My great aunt and uncle celebrate their golden wedding anniversary on Friday , my mum asked me to do a card for them and thought this image would be perfect as it actually looks a wee bit like them!

Less is More Week 11 Acetate, oh! and me!

 

I have decided to enter a challenge! Not another one!

that must be about 3 this year!!, yes I am a bit slow at the challenges but I am definately going to make an effort this year, however, I'm not really impressed with my effort but I will give it a whirl anyway.
I am entering into the Less is More Acetate challenge as I really like LIM cards.

I punched out 3 flowers with acetate and ran over them with my embossing tool towards teh tip of the flower to give shape and the whiteness, I would have preferred a larger flower but I dont have a big enough punch and would have also liked a white sentiment , but didn't have anything to do that with either, so I have used a swirly peel off and a lush brad for the centre of the flower, a wee bit white ribbon and that was me , think its a wee bit too plain but it was a first attempt with acetate for something other than for 3d glass effect!

Also finally got a picture of me on my blog , at long last , and I dont resemble a plum at all!! I don't think I do anyway! My son took the picture for me , he's a clever wee boy!

Male Retirement Card

 

My friend needed a special retirement card and wanted it themed due to his job,(no prizes for guessing what it is!) think this fitted the bill! excuse the pun!

I downloaded the hat from the internet, cut it out and glossed it. 

Used my nesties and my MS punch and the paper is their own paper from my local supplier, sentiments on the pc and a few bits of card candy.

Mothers Days & Spring Go Together

Had 5 mother's day cards to make this year!2 for my friend , 1 for my other friend and 1 each for my one and MIL, hubby was chancing it and asked me to make another one , I asked who for and he said for myself, sent him packing on that one!!! the one above was for my Mil and the next one was one of my friends ones, used the same layout but used different papers and colours , I forgot to photograph my mums one but it was done with light green paper.
