A Card at Last and an Apology

First my apology for not being around much lately, things have been really busy and not had a minute, just had time to make my card requests but not much time to visit you all or post them up , I promise to catch up with blogland tonight.

Now onto my card which was made for my friend for her best friends 40th and she wanted something special.  I had made the card below for her husbnad to give to her for her 40th which I hadnt posted up (dont know why) and she loved it so much she wanted a pink version for her friend.
these cards do take a bit longer to make but the finished article stands out in a display , perfect for special friends.
Thanks for looking and if you leave a comment I will be sure to visit you back K xx

  3. Hi Karen

Wow .. . these certainly are very special!! I love the shape of them very much.

Both are beautiful but I think the black and white one is my favourite .. .. simply because I love the combo.

You asked how I make my flowers look 3D.

Nothing very technical really. I just punch my flowers out as normal and then put my left thumb nail down the centre of a petal and using my right hand fold the petal around my left thumb. Repeating on every petal.

In the early days I used to score them and then fold them upwards .. .. but then time got too short for that!! LOL!!!

    Hope this helps.

    Love Jules xx
